Save to PDF using 'Save As'<\/h3>\n

All publishing programs have the option to save to PDF format.<\/p>\n

  1. Open your document in the program.<\/li>\n
  2. Click 'File'.<\/li>\n
  3. Click 'Save As'.<\/li>\n
  4. From the ~'Format' selection field choose the 'PDF' option.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Save to PDF using 'Export'<\/h3>\n

    If you're using a graphics program or a non publishing program, you can still usually save as PDF (Portable Document Format)\u00a0using the 'export' feature.<\/p>\n

    1. Open your document in a program.<\/li>\n
    2. Click 'File'.<\/li>\n
    3. Click 'Export'.<\/li>\n
    4. Choose ~ 'export to PDF'.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Another option is to import your document into Google Docs. From Google Docs you can save the document to PDF.<\/p>\n

        How to save to PDF using Google Docs<\/h3>\n

        1. Go to Google.com\/docs<\/a> and log into\/create your account.<\/li>\n
        2. Click the 'Upload' button.

        3. Click on 'Files...'.<\/li>\n
        4. Navigates to the directory on your computer where you have the document you want to save as a PDF , select it and click the 'Open' button.<\/li>\n
        5. Make the 'Convert documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and drawings to the corresponding Google Docs format' option is checked.<\/li>\n
        6. Click the 'Start upload' button.<\/li>\n
        7. You will now see your document(s) in a list on your Google Docs account page.<\/li>\n
        8. Check the box next to the document(s) you want to convert yo PDF.<\/li>\n
        9. Notice how options appeared above your list. Click the 'More' button.

        11. In the popup window, select 'PDF' from the 'Document' drop-down menu.<\/li>\n
