If you are calling people on Skype and your number is appearing as\u00a06617480240 it's because you haven't set your Skype caller ID yet. I first noticed this problem after upgrading to Windows7. Ever since the upgrade, Skype has been really buggy and\u00a0problematic. Follow the instructions below to set up call ID for Skype.<\/p>\n

Set up Skype caller ID<\/h3>\n

  1. Open a browser and go to:\u00a0http:\/\/www.skype.com\/intl\/en-us\/features\/allfeatures\/caller-identification\/<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click the 'Set up Caller ID' button.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the 'select a pre-saved number' link. Notice how your Skype number auto populates the field.<\/li>\n
  4. Click the 'Save Settings' button.<\/li>\n
  5. Click the '< Back to account' link.<\/li>\n
  6. When you're on your account summary page you should see the correct number being displayed as the caller ID in the\u00a0bottom\u00a0left hand side of the screen.
