If you've received the 'tumblr over capacity error' i.e. \"We're sorry our servers are over capacity, and certain pages may be temporarily unavailable. We're working quickly to resolve the issue.\" While trying to use Tumblr, you're not alone. I was in the midst of an important post when I received this error message:

I also got this error message:<\/p>\n

Reloading the page got me this Tumblr error message:
\nThis webpage is not available<\/strong><\/p>\n

The connection to\u00a0www.tumblr.com<\/strong>\u00a0was interrupted...

All of these messages are caused by Tumblr reaching their server traffic limits. There's not a lot you can do about it except wait for Tumblr to upgrade and avoid heavy traffic hours.<\/p>\n
