In this post, I will show you how to create a good username. A Youtube username seems trifle at first thought, but it's not. I see a lot of Youtube channels with great videos, professional background images, but 'sucky' username. This is because people can learn to create better videos overtime etc, but whatever username you choose you will be stuck with forever<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some people make a living off their Youtube Channel like\u00a0TimothyDeLaGhetto2<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0failblog<\/a>\u00a0and their username's play a critical role in\u00a0marketing.<\/p>\n

It's easy to tell someone about a great Youtube channel called 'failblog', but trying to spell out 'timothydelaghetto2' takes a lot of effort and it's annoying. Below are some basic rules on how to create a good Youtube username.<\/p>\n

  1. User common words for your username.<\/li>\n
  2. Don't use your real name as a Youtube username. You may want to sell your Youtube channel one day and no Blake Smith with a channel called Jack johnson wouldn't work too well.<\/li>\n
  3. The shorter the username the better.<\/li>\n
  4. If the username is taken try attaching these common slang word\u00a0extensions\u00a0to the name: uber, zor, ster, ify, dom, tron, izzle to the word.<\/li>\n
  5. Putting 2 to 3 words together is fine especially if they relate to one another.<\/li>\n
