How to create a tree diagram using Google Docs<\/h3>\n

  1. Log into your Google Docs account and click on the 'CREATE' button.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Drawing.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on the 'Shape' icon \"\"<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  4. Scroll over the 'Shapes' option.<\/li>\n
  5. Select a shape that you want to use.<\/li>\n
  6. Drag the mouse onto the canvas area to create your shape.\n

  7. After creating a shape, the 'Select' tool \"\"<\/a> is automatically selected.<\/li>\n
  8. Double click on the shape, type in some text and click the 'Enter' key.<\/li>\n
  9. Click on the 'Select' tool\"\"<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  10. Press and hold down the right mouse button while dragging over the labeled box you made and copy it (Ctrl+c). <\/li>\n
  11. Paste two more copies of the labeled box under your first box.\n

  12. Click the very small arrow on the 'Line' tool and select the arrow option.\n

  13. Now when you hover over one of your labeled boxes, purple dots will appear. Drag from one labeled box to another, while connected a purple dot from one box to a purple dot on another box. You should have created an arrow like this.\n

  14. Repeat the process to create an arrow pointing to the other box.<\/li>\n
  15. If you need to edit the text label for a box, just double click on the text.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
