The Google tracking code is the code snippet you insert into your website. This Google Analytics Tracking code allows Google to monitor your website. When you create a Google Analytics account, you will be shown your tracking code. You do not need to store your Google Tracking code as you can easily access it at anytime from within your Google Analytics account.
Find your tracking code from within Google Analytics:
- Click the 'Admin' tab at the top of the page.
- Click the 'Tracking Code' tab.
