It is very convenient to reply to your website emails or dot com emails from your Yahoo email account. In this tutorial, I will show you how to reply from a different email address using Yahoo.
Setup Yahoo to reply to using a different email address (sales@mywebsite.com)
- Log into your Yahoo email account.
- Click the gear icon at the top right corner of the scrnee.
- Click on 'Mail Options'.
- Click 'Mail Accounts'.
- Click the '+Add' button.
- Fill in the 'Account name:' field. This field will be a label only you will.
- Fill in the external email address in other words the email you want to send from. (example: sales@mywebsite.com).
- Click the 'Continue' button.
- Click the 'Skip this, setup to Send only' button and don't fill in the other fields.
- Log into your domain email account, example: sales@mywebsite.com, and click the verification link in the verification email Yahoo just sent you.
You might also want emails sent to your external email address sent to a custom folder. You may also want to change the 'sending name' for your external email address.
