WordPress Themes For Therapists

Date: November 2, 2012 Author: ang Category: Websites WordPress Tags: , Comments: 0

So I've decided to find a good WordPress theme for Therapists. The corporate look doesn't fool as many people as it used to, so small businesses and professionals are starting to take advantage of the personal feel when possible. When searching for these themes for therapists, I tried very hard to find themes with that personal yet professional feel. The themes below are mobile device compatible, and the ratings are get high for stability and ease-of-use. I've also listed the theme author's website, and it's PR(page rank), next to each theme listing.

  1. Celestino - view demo - Price $50 - Author's website: http://www.yourinspirationweb.com (PR3)

This theme is professional yet not to be corporate. It's got a trendy personal advanced feel which is good for a Therapists website. Photography is very important for the overall look and feel any website. My only beef with this theme is that it doesn't use enough text into the home page. If you want to have a lot of text on your home page, this theme isn't your best choice.
  2. Hover -  view demo - Price $40 - Author's website: none

This is actually a non-profit theme, but it also has a great look and feel for a therapist. It's simple, artsy, SEO friendly and has a lot of options to place text on the home page. For the home page, I would keep the slider, the three text columns just below the slider and the 'From The Blog' section' and turn off all the other elements like the 'Recent Initiatives', 'Reaching Our Goal' and 'Donations'.
There are a lot of WordPress themes out there for therapists, but they aren't mobile device compatible, so I didn't list them.
