In this tutorial I will show you how to add AdSense to your WordPress blog. You will need a WordPress.com or self-hosted WordPress website and an AdSense account in order to complete this tutorial.

In this tutorial I will show you how to add AdSense to your WordPress website in the sidebar area, using Widgets.

Add AdSense to WordPress

1. Create your Google AdSense ad.
2. Log into your WordPress website.
3. Click on 'Appearance'.
4. Click on 'Widgets'.
5. Drag a text widget into the sidebar area.
6. Don't title this particular widget.
7. Paste the Google AdSense code snippet into the text widget.
8. Click the 'Save' button.

Note: It may take 10 minutes or so for your AdSense ad to show up on your website's sidebar.
