In this tutorial I will show you how to edit your WordPress header HTMl section using WordPress admin. No HTML editing software is required to complete this tutorial.
Edit WordPress HTML header section
- Log into your WordPress website.
- Click on 'Editor' under 'Appearance'.
- Click on the 'Header' link from the link list on right hand side of the screen.
- You can now manipulate the code for your header section by altering the code between start and ending the head tags.
Start head tags :'<head>'.
End head tags: '<head>'. - Click the 'Update File' button to save your changes.
If your WordPress theme doesn't allow your changes to your head section to take effect, you will have to manipulate the head section manually using FTP and altering the header.php file.
