In this tutorial I show you how to create an ad in adSense. You will need an AdSense account in order to complete this tutorial.

How to create a Google Ad

1. Log into your AdSense account.
2. Click on the 'My Ads' tab at the top of the screen.
   
3. Click the '+New ad unit' button.
4. Type in a name for your add in the 'Name' field.
5. Select the ad size from the 'Ad size' field that you want to place on your web page.
   Example:
   
6. Select 'Image/rich media ads only' from the 'Ad type' drop-down menu.
7. Click the 'Save and get code' button. The code for your ad will popup.
   
8. Copy the code snippet of your ad and paste it into your web page's HTML. You can also paste this AdSense code snippet into your WordPress sidebar widget and a page or post while in HTML tab mode.
