Color Problem In Photoshop

Date: June 30, 2012 Author: ang Category: Affordable Web Design Tutorials Tags: Comments: 0

I recently noticed a color problem in Photoshop while designing a website. When you open an image or paste an image into Photoshop it may look too gray, washed out, or the color isn't right. Whether your images are looking too pink, too dark, too red, too blue or too green, whatever... the issue is the same. You need to calibrate your monitor. Follow the steps to calibrate your monitor in Windows. Once you calibrate your monitor, Photoshop should display images consistently with your desktop, and other applications.

How to calibrate your monitor

  1. Click on the 'Control Panel' tab in the 'Start' menu.
  2. In the 'Control Panel' search field, type in 'calibrate monitor'.
  3. Click the 'Display - Calibrate Display Color' option from the search results.

Follow the instructions to calibrate your monitor. When you're done with the calibration, close Photoshop and re open it. Your color problem in Photoshop should be gone.
