In this tutorial, I will show you how to enable the 'Developer' tab in Microsoft Word 13. The 'Developer' tab is necessary to create protected documents, editable forms, add Add-ins, add Visual Basic and more.
Enable the 'Developer' tab in Word
- With Microsoft open, click on the 'File' tab at the top of the screen.
- Click on the 'Options' option.
- Click on the 'Customize Ribbon' option.
- Check the box next to the 'Developer' option.
- Click the 'Ok' button.
The developer tab should now available and visible next to the other tabs across the top of the screen.
